Report a Property

Across the UK there are tens of thousands of empty properties that lie either abandoned or derelict.

Empty properties can have a negative impact local communities including:

  • Attracting vandalism or anti-social behaviour
  • Reducing the value and attractiveness of the local area
  • Posting a possible health and safety risk to local residents
  • Illegal or disruptive occupation of property
  • Falling into disrepair and causing damage to surrounding properties

By reporting a property you believe to be unoccupied you are actively taking part in improving your neighbourhood.

Your report could potentially provide the opportunity for us to help bring the property back into use.

How does it work?

How does it work?

1.

Identity a property that you believe to be unoccupied

It might be one you have noticed on your street or one you pass every day. The garden may be over grown or the building itself appears to be damaged or be in a generally poor condition.

2.

Report the property using the online form

Any information you have to the address is useful, even if anecdotal. This could be knowledge of previous tenants.

A picture always helps if possible.

3.

Receive a £35 gift voucher

If the property is unoccupied and we are able to take the case on, then you will receive a £35 gift voucher.

There is no limit to the number of properties you can report.
